hi!

I'm Babette, a queer tattoo artist in Gent, creating expressive, sketchdriven tattoos with heart, texture, and personality. My creative roots stretch back to Indonesia, where I spent seven years of my childhood — four in Jakarta and three in Bali at the Green School, an English‑speaking, sustainability‑focused school that taught me to experiment, explore, and trust my artistic instincts. I'm not just a tattoo artist; I'm also a freelance graphic designer and makeup artist. My world is built from many mediums: drawing, painting, exhibiting my work, cutting and colouring hair, reading, travelling, and constantly gathering visual inspiration. Everything I do is about expression and connection. In the studio, I aim to create a safe, warm space where we can collaborate and bring your ideas to life. I'm also one of the founders of Untitled Flinta Project, a collective in Gent where I work with four others to organise activities for queer FLINTAs — creating space, community, and moments of shared queer joy.
